The Niagara Restoration Council is a firm believer in education. It is only through education that long lasting, positive environmental change will be possible. We hope to pursue this goal through multiple techniques.

One of the key concepts that we try to present to audiences of all ages is that pollution can enter our water through many different ways. This concept is illustrated below.

Did you know that every year the Ministry of the Environment produces a “Guide to Eating Ontario Sport Fish”? This publication lists the fish species that are safe to eat based on size and age. This guide is available at Conservation Authority offices and the locations where you purchase your fishing license.
